I just received the feedback for my final assignment in a communications course from last semester. “The site works well except for the fact you have no index.html page in the root directory of your site.” Dear professor, did your browser magically load my site, then? And if so, do I get extra marks?

Nils Haugen

On a roadtrip earlier this week, we drove past this amazing hand painted sign at Sæbø on the west coast of Norway. The illusion of a colour gradient in the curves is done with thin lines, with the two colours alternating.

Happy Birthday, Dad

My dad turned 51 today, and we got him this 1 metre tall shisha, with a beautiful wooden mouth piece and a blue glass bowl.
