More EightySixKillers, More DESIGN AND DESIGN

I’ve been working on transferring the previously mentioned EightySixKillers website online. I use MAMP for my local web server, which neatly incorporates phpMyAdmin—but I had a couple of problems.
The first thing was that I didn’t change the blog address in the WP settings before moving the files. When I tried opening the install on the new server, it started looking for the old address whenever the page was refreshed.
The second glitch was when I tried importing the .sql database on the new server. I didn’t run the WordPress install first, though I did update the wp-config file. Apparently, the WordPress install needs to be set up with the correct database prefixes before the database is imported. It might be that databases can’t be merged? I have no idea.
Anyway, it’s up at http://wno241780.web29.talkactive.net/ temporarily. We’ve started setting up the individual artist pages. We’re still waiting for some of the content.
Also, I got another page in the DESIGN AND DESIGN book.
Looks like I’m worth another half star this time; three and a half! PROGRESS!

Nice!
You have some problems with some of the links on the temp site. Check “Contact Asgeir Hoem through EightySixKillers”. It refers to localhost.
